Sarah Cocco is the Foundation Relations Officer at the Shriver Center on Poverty Law, where she identifies and secures foundation funding for operating and program support. She also has served as a co-chair of the Shriver Center’s internal Race Equity Committee since 2019. Sarah has completed two terms of service with AmeriCorps VISTA, one with the Shriver Center in 2017-2018 and another with Wright County Community Action in Maple Lake, MN in 2016. Sarah holds a B.A. in Communications and Sociology with a minor in Leadership Studies from St. Norbert College. She is a member of the Chicago Foundation for Women’s (CFW’s) Young Women’s Giving Council and a member of CFW’s inaugural Liberating Funding cohort.
