Ryan Deringer joined the Shriver Center in 2017 and is the Human Resources Manager. Previously, he worked in the medical equipment and financial services industries. Before pursuing a career in human resources, Ryan was an administrator for The Bridge Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing educational barriers and improving academic and behavioral outcomes for children living in Denver’s public housing neighborhoods. Prior to that, he completed two years of service with AmeriCorps, working with both the American Red Cross and the Literacy Volunteers of Illinois. Ryan graduated from the University of Colorado and Roosevelt University with degrees in biology and political science, respectively, and is a SHRM Certified Professional.
