Marcus Samuel rejoined the Shriver Center on Poverty Law as the Legal Impact Network Program Associate in April 2021. In this role, he is responsible for providing critical logistical support to the network to ensure LIN members can efficiently share resources and collaborate with one another through joint advocacy efforts.
Most recently, he worked as a paralegal at a boutique business immigration law firm supporting the firm’s attorneys in preparing immigration petitions and applications.
In his previous roles at Fenton Communications, the Health Communications Research Center, and the Shriver Center, Marcus used communications to amplify social justice issues and advance policy solutions by monitoring media and social media platforms for clients, drafting social media messaging, writing articles, and editing videos.
Marcus graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 2015.
