In her role as annual giving manager, Kelly Echard executes the Shriver Center on Poverty Law’s annual giving initiatives, from donor cultivation and stewardship to the strategic expansion of gifts under $1,000.
Previously, Kelly worked as a project manager at the Chicago-based nonprofit consulting firm Grenzebach Glier and Associates. She has interned for the Children’s Law and Policy Initiative of Indiana and the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. Kelly earned her undergraduate degree and her master’s in public affairs from Indiana University. As a graduate student, she secured an $85,000 grant for a local homeless shelter and childcare center.
Kelly grew up in southern Indiana surrounded by cornfields. Currently, she lives in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, where she enjoys spending time with her cat Honey, and taking walks with her dog Harper.
