The Shriver Center on Poverty Law’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Bonnie Allen has been appointed as Interim Executive Director, effective September 1, 2025.
Bonnie brings decades of leadership experience in legal services, nonprofit management, and racial justice advocacy. For the past 18 months, she has served as Interim Executive Director at the Center for Arkansas Legal Services. Previously, she served as Executive Director at Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights. Prior roles also include Development Director at the Mississippi Center for Justice and President of the Center for Law and Renewal at the Fetzer Institute.
Bonnie is no stranger to the Shriver Center. She previously served as a Board member and consultant, playing a key role in advancing the Center’s Racial Justice Institute and Legal Impact Network.
The Board is confident that Bonnie’s deep expertise and proven leadership will provide stability and insight during this period of transition.
