Dev Middleton is passionate about supporting and connecting people to racial and economic justice work. As the Grants and Foundation Relations Manager, they oversee $2 million in annual funding.
Dev began their career in their hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, at Erin’s House for Grieving Children. Talking to young people who experienced violence and loss drew them to mission-driven work. They have raised funds and secured grants for organizations that address systemic racism and empower non-binary youth of color. Most recently, Dev served as the Associate Director of Grants at READI Chicago. The gun violence prevention program offers intensive support for at-risk Black men.
Dev is a writer and performer in Chicago. They helped iO Theater with outreach to non-binary and neurodivergent comedians of color. In their free time, you might find Dev at Landmark Century Theatre catching a movie.
