Strong Communities

Our polices and laws must value families, center communities, and end the inequities that result in the disenfranchisement of low-income people and Black and Brown people.

We work to disrupt criminal legal and child welfare systems from continuing to oppress, over-surveil, separate, and marginalize Black and Brown communities. We advocate for policies that keep communities safe, prioritize unifying families, and help people who are justice-involved secure stable jobs, finish their education, and thrive in their communities.

We center parents in advocating for policies and laws that strengthen families and end the harmful removal of children from their homes.

We fight for policies and laws that strengthen communities and disrupt the harms caused by the criminal legal system.

We advocate for reforms to legal systems that threaten the stability of people and communities.
