Chef Fabio Viviani
Chef Fabio Viviani has harbored a passion for food since his childhood growing up in Florence, Italy. Best known for his television debut on Bravo’s hit series Top Chef—earning the “Fan Favorite” title—his on-screen appearances have propelled him to become one of the top culinary names in the country. In partnership with DineAmic Hospitality, Viviani has opened multiple restaurants in Chicago, including Siena Tavern, Bar Siena and BomboBar, both in West Loop and their newest location, Old Town.
State Champion Awardee
The Shriver Center is proud to honor Luvia Quiñones for her strong leadership in the fight against poverty with this year's State Champion Award. Luvia serves as the Health Policy Director at the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. In this role, Luvia oversees the Immigrant Health Care Access Initiative and, in collaboration with ICIRR's members, develops ICIRR's health policy agenda with a special focus in access to health care and on health care reform. Luvia has a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a BA in International Studies from DePaul University. She is the daughter of Mexican Immigrants from Durango, Mexico, and is an active community member in her parish, St. Sylvester. Currently, she serves as a board member of West Suburban Action Project and the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics.
