1994 Bankruptcy Amendments and Consumer Bankruptcy Practice

Last October the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1994 was signed into law. Although the provisions of the Act are mixed, overall the amendments contain substantial enhancements of current law for consumer debtors. This column reviews those major provisions that have an impact on consumer debtors.
