Recognizing Wage and Hour Issues on Behalf of Low-Income Workers

Since low-income clients now increasingly participate in employment, poverty law advocates should know the fundamentals of the Fair Labor Standards Act, a basic federal labor statute. Poverty law advocates can expect to encounter minimum-wage and overtime compensation issues when they assist low-income workers.
