The Right to Notice and a Rearing Regarding Child Support Collections

Even though Congress in 1984 clearly directed that AFDC families should benefit from the states' collection of their child support, both the policies of the states and the federal government and the states' collection practices have often deprived families of support to which they are arguably entitled.
