Ron Elwood is the Supervising Attorney of the Legal Services Advocacy Project at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid. His Clearinghouse Review article, The Verdict Is in: Payday Lending Is Guilty as Charged, debunked common arguments of those who try to defend payday lending as a legitimate source of short-term credit for people with low income. Ron talked about his work and his article with Amanda Moore, Senior Attorney at the Shriver Center.
